CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

Recommended Posts

All our mugs are in from discount mugs and there was no problem...they look even better than we thought they would and the logo is printed on really well. It is a bit raised and feels almost baked on...not like something that is going to rub off the first time people handle it with wet hands.

Sorry I missed the earlier question about shipping...was competely reasonable...but watch - the catch was the brokerage fee. It still was not bad and our mugs came in with a way cheaper price than everywhere else...just so you budget. Mine ended up being $63 for 60 mugs....so my total cost per mug was $5.51 or so....within a few cents, I will have to check an old post or my invoice which is at home right now. The mugs are super quality and the ones here at Elite and similar stores are all overr $15 with out set up fees.

We ordered ST-33 in royal blue and had our logo done in white (just the one colour). I can't upload a photo from work, but I will try do it when I get home in the morning for you.

Wow that's a really nice mug!! It looks even better than the image that I did up for ours! Now I wonder if I should have their art department make my image instead :) I'm surprised that your mug could have such a large size imprint as well! Mine is only 2x2" so nothing on it is too big. The hard part was that we wanted our names on it but not too big so that no one would use them after the trip - is that what you had in mind with yours too?

That mug turned out very cute! I was kinda interested in getting some of those colour changing stadium cups...I saw a thread on them not long ago. I thought since most of the drinks are going to be cold drinks those would work great and they were cheap too! I love getting everyones ideas!

We did not want our names to be huge afterwards because we wanted people to use them after the trip - same reason we went with a higher quality mug.....trying to be a bit environmental....hopefully not everyone tosses them -lol!

I made up a draft of our logo but could not get that bottom line to wrap right side up :s So a good friend I grew up with is a graphic arts designer and I sent it to him....he logged onto the site and looked at what they needed and changed all my fonts to what he said would be cleaner and easier to read once printed. He told me to stay away from the fun fonts like "Ma Sexy" because they tend to blur when done on small areas. He also sent me an email set up specifically the way they asked for it, so I just forwarded that to them. The logo looks way bigger on the mug than we thought it would too - which may be because my friend changed all the fonts and it is all clean lines. I don't know - just love themwink.gif

When you go to make your....pull the ruler function up on your document. Then you can see if it is all fitting in there properly. You can phone discountmugs (that is what i did), order over the phone, and then they give you the email address to send everything to plus your reference number. That way things don't get lost and the art department gets it right away. You could do that and send what you have with a request for them to change something you aren't getting just the way you like it? I am sure they would help you out and then would have a good idea of what you are loooking for. I feel better when I get to talk to a person, so that is why I went this route.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
