Tai Flora hasn't responded to me with pricing on doing this set up and I'm curious to find out what the cost is.

Hi Ladies!

Having problems communicating with resort and need help with the planning and logistics of your wedding? I was able to get quick responses from Janielle and Angellie (since I've worked with them twice now) and I was able to save my best bride over $3,000 for her destination wedding at the Grand. I can offer you with the below services. Feel free to contact me if youâ€re interested.

  • Vendor Negotiation
  • Finding the right vendors for you: I have relationships with bands, djs, photographers, florist
  • OTB: custom tote bags, sunglasses, booklets, hangover kits
  • Easy to the point communication with the resort
  • Logistics
  • Upgrades and extras through the resort for free!
  • Save you money and avoid all the extra surprise fees
  • Assistance for you through the entire wedding planning process leading up to your wedding and even your actual wedding day if you would like for me to attend. (In order for me to come to your wedding I would need you to cover my air and hotel which I'm able to get at a discounted rate)

*rates vary depending on your needs.

If you don't mind, can you let us know what you hear from Tai Flora on this set up?  It is absolutely beautiful and gives the look and feel that I want for our wedding.

Thanks!

I will definitely let you know what the cost is when I hear back from Tai Flora. I met with them 2 weeks ago when I was there and have sent two follow up emails and still haven't heard back. I hope I will hear something soon. I do know the cost of the chivari chairs is $8, but Tai Flora said they may be able to reduce the price.

Any past Grand brides?  I can't decide on the menu for our reception dinner.  I'm really tempted to go with the Jamaican buffet, because honestly we love Jamaican food and I can't tell if any other Jamaican food is actually served at this hotel (the restaurants are Japanese, Italian, Meditteranean, Mexican, Surf and Turf, etc.).  But I also like buffet #1 with the lobster and fillet (even though lobster may not be served since my wedding is during the off season).  Any there any past brides who have tried either of these menus?

While I haven't gotten married there yet I can tell you from just getting back that the buffet has Jamaican nights 4 day a week (other days are italian and asian) and when we were there 5/12-5/19 lobster was not available (this was all at the suites) also there was alot of Jamaican food being served at the lunch buffets too! hopefully that was a little helpful at least!

PS do you mind posting the menu options on here? I'm curious even though i have 13 months to go!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
