OMG Mrs. DeAngelis2be.  I saw this on my travel agent facebook page awhile back ago but she stated for new bookings only. There is no where on there site that states for new booking only. So I have emailed Ms. Thomspson and the other planner at the Grand. I so hope they let me do this. Saving $3000 will be so helpful. Thank you so much for posting this. Pray that it comes through!!!

Morning ladies,

I sent an email to Tacita on Tuesday 4/5/11 and I sent another one to the same address to Angellie (public relations manager) this morning. I really hope someone returns my request for information about the free ceremony. Saving $3000 would be lovely!!  I'm with Toniilove, it doesn't say ANYWHERE on the advertisment that it's for NEW BOOKINGS! What a crock of crap if that's what there going to tell us. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!

  Everyone enjoy their day!

I contacted her too and I didn't hear back yet! We should all make a big stink if she doesn't give it to us.

FYI the Iberostar is having a Spring Promotion. I was able to save my guests $30 a night ($200 a night for my wedding weekend) awesome deal. Talk to your travel agents, doesn't matter if you booked already you can still save!!

I have a feeling ladies that there is going to be a big catch to this. It does not include the reception, hair, make-up, marriage license, and a lot of other stuff that the regular package has. I am still waiting for them to respond. I received an email from Janielle Feurtado (the new wedding coordinator) yesterday regarding an email I sent them the same day I asked about the free package. She responded to my first email but has not responded to the one regarding the free package. I will keep you ladies posted.

I finally heard back ladies from the Grand, Oh and we have a new WC too.

Tacita is no longer with the weddings dept. due to unforeseen circumstances. In regards to your question, unfortunately Ms. Bostic your wedding was already confirmed before the offer, thus you are unable to change it.

Does anything think that $12 per person per hour for premium open bar at a private cocktail hour and private reception is a bit high? I would think there wouldn't be an additional charge since premium drinks are already covered under the all inclusive rate.

Are their prices negotiable??

Hi ladies this was the response I received. What do you guys think?

HI Latoya,

Unfortunately you are unable to change your wedding package as your wedding was already confirmed before the said offer.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
