Ok, we are at at "minimoon" at the Palmilla and all I can say is WOW! We did get a deal on our original room, but they also gave us a double upgrade. We have our own butler on call 24 hours a day and they will pretty much cater to your every need. They have fruit for you everyday, had tequila and champagne waiting when we arrived, and do an aromatherapy turndown service. Check in is even amazing - you are greated at the front by your butler, you sit on a bench and someone brings you a tropical fruit popsicle and then shows you around the property on a golf cart. Their is no front desk, you just go to your room and they start unpacking your stuff for you and you just sign and give them your credit card. It is very relaxing and not a party scene; however, after being in Cabo for 6 days with all of our friends, we are ready for some relaxation. We are right on the ocean on the third floor and have a bed outside on the terrace where my husband is asleep right now! I don't ever want to go home! Can you tell I love this place? I can't believe I was ever doubting it!

I almost forgot, about the price.... We got a great deal on our room, so that isn't too bad. The food is expensive, but it has been amazing so far. We live in LA, so we are used to paying an arm and a leg for meals, so this is a little bit more, but worth it because we are laying on a secluded beach with people bringing us misters, drinks and looking after our every need!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
