I have officailly decided the FI's are wierd about thier feet!! LOL.

Jess, I went to a wedding in Laguna Beach where they did an assortment of pies and EVERYONE was raving about them, but it was over looking the beach and not on the beach.

Also I am not so sure about pies in Mexico, i haven't seen any reviews.

My FI mini-freaked out about the bridal shower that hasn't even been planned yet. When one of my bridesmaids said that he didn't have a say in it, he got all offended. Later, I had to explain to him that I don't really have a say in it either, because it's planned by the girls in honor of the bride.

It was really random, and he isn't really particular in any of the details yet. I think he just wants to reserve the right to put his foot down more than he actually wants to put his foot down on anything.

My FI has been pretty open to everything, He just cared about his attire. He wanted to wear something simple and light weight. The other thing we wanted an opinion in was his lei. He didn't care for the maile lei and likes the kukuhi nut shells so he can keep it.

Our resort offers a mexican cocktail party complete with a live donkey with a sombrero, whom also carries ice cold beer in it's saddle(huh.gif).

From day one he has said absolutely not. I think it would definitely be a surprise for guests and make for some good photos, but I'm alright with letting him have this one thing!!!

My FI has been really laid back on everything, including his attire! He just keeps saying whatever I want him to wear. Of course, this is his second wedding, his first was a monstrous Catholic affair that he had no say in at all. Since this is my first he keeps telling me to do whatever I want and just tell him what he should help with.

Sweet deal!

Erika - Great Thread!!! I love it!

My FI has been great about everything. It is his second wedding and my first and he wants me to have whatever I want. He has been kinda picky about his shoes - I think we are getting married in the sand he should be in flip flops, but he feels like this is his wedding and he should be in a full suit, shoes and all. I say - whatever he wants!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
