    Hello

My name is Tiffany, and I'm getting married July 18, 2009. We have decided that we want to get married in Jamaica. But due to the number of guest that are planning to show we are needing help to Find Local Venues instead of booking the wedding at the hotel.. We are really trying to stay on a budget and due to hotel packages limiting certain number of attendees, the price starts racking back up by adding additional guest.. I'm looking to have about 40 people attend.. So if you have any hotel suggestions that would include this amount of people in a wedding/reception package that would be awesome...Does anyone have any suggestions or any information?

    Thanks for all your help!!

Congrats and welcome! We photographed a wedding in January and they got married at Reggae Beach then had the reception at Evita's. It was spectacular and here is a link to her review http://bestdestinati...om/forum/t36280. This is an awesome forum with lots of info! Good luck and best wishes!

Congratulations and welcome to the forum! If you are staying in Ocho Rios I would definitely, definitely look into Coyaba Gardens and Waterfall...it is stunning and a favorite wedding location for locals. I'd be happy to send you photos if you're interested.

I don't think you have to write off resorts from your list either - I'm getting married at Moon Dance Cliffs in Negril and since they are a smaller hotel (22 rooms) there is no charge for guests who are not staying at the hotel - that could be an option for you - also, in that way, your guests have a wide array of different accommodation options - just a thought!

Either way, congrats and welcome to the forum! :)
