Great Idea!

I put together the O' SH*T kit myself. I bought the clear plastic pillow boxes, sewing kits (they were a lot of hotel ones that I just took out of the original boxes and put one of my stickers on it), and emery boards on Ebay. I got the drink packs from Sam's and Costco, and the shout wipes for the best price I could find online. The wipes and tape measure were free. Some of our local BBQ places provide the wipes them when you have meals catered. For some reason no one ever uses them so I had been saving them (I didn't know for what). The tape measures are free ones that some local businesses give away.

I have this situation, too. I posted this same question and basically it boils down to what you feel is right.

My decision is I will give a bag per room for couples/family members and a bag to each single (We have several of this situation - mostly single girls - some I know and some I don't know).

I am also going to give a bag to my TA and the WC at the resort.

Ok, I think that is a pretty good rule of thumb. If I have to think about it, I should probably just give her one too. She is making the trip all the way out there. Thanks! smile29.gif

  • 1 month later...

I can't wait to hand them out! I have tried to keep many of the items a secret but a couple of my closer friends that are going know about several of the items. I am still cutting out stickers and putting things together.

It takes time but I think it will be appreciated.

Wow, you did a great job on your bags and kept the cost down at the same time. Good job!

I was going to make a hangover recovery kit but I think I will steal your name and call my hangover kit the O' Sh't kit. I love that name! We are all big drinkers at our parties and there is usually one or two casualties of the night that can't make it to whatever the next day's event is....

Thanks for all of your info!

Tammy

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
