Hey girls what a big surprise eh!!

I was putting my comments about Ivan from Doremixx on mania forum, and now I found this thread, I am getting married on next November at Gran Caribe Real, I am in Cancun right now for my site visit, I meet Ivan, from Doremixx Audio Visual & Professional DJ´s, he is a great guy, Very nice and professional.

Last night we went to wedding reception in ballrooms, and big surprise he has a very nice light up dance floor, and wonderful robotic lights, I have some photos but I don´t know how to put them here. Believe me great dance floor; he says we can see the videos on his web page on gallery section, I saw his web page and also you will found a link to see photos from other events, or YouTube site to see the videos.

I'll start by saying that before I even got to Mexico he responded on my every single e-mail I sent to him. He answered my every single question; I decided to have a meeting prior the wedding to talk about music, he brings 3 external hard drives with tons of music.

During the reception, He announces the bride & groom; let people know when it was a toast, cake cutting time, etc.. etc.. He played the music and the dance floor wasn´t empty always keeps the party up, I’m so happy I ´hired him as a DJ for our wedding.

People loved the illuminated dance floor, the giants’ balloons, light sticks, serpentines, foam, and limbo dance, also he provides cold fireworks included in the price, Wow!!!! What a big party.

He was mixing with turntables and his computer, a dj show, playing music from all genres, but he's also a really nice guy, if you can hire him, do it. He is soooo great!!!

Tonight I will have the opportunity to be in other reception at The Royal Cancun, he will playing there too !!!!

I have heard nothing but good things about Mannia, However...his rates are MUCH higher then Doremixx. And not only that, but Doremixx brings all kings of props that are included in that price.

I just wish that someone has used them so we can get a full review. It's a little scary because he is still kind of unknown.

The good thing about Mannia is exactly what Tammy said...People have used him and Loved him, so you know what your getting for your money.

Doremixx looks good on paper and his youtube videos, but has anyone we know used him?

I will say though, he got RIGHT back to me, in the same day when I e-mailed him. I still haven't heard back from Mannia when I e-mailed him more then once since September.

I may be in the minority with that though, because alot of other girls had no problems.

It all comes back to money for me...My budget will allow for Doremixx...Now I just have to decide if we are going to use a Dj and if Dreams will allow him. I will add that to my list of Questions I send to Claudia via my TA (Jill) :-)

Yeah I feel you, DJ Mannia seems like he would be great to have. However, I am finding that my costs are already skyrocketing and I am deciding that I want things that I originally did not care about (BD book, TTD). It is so hard to decide. Let us know if Dreams will allow him, I am very curious to find out

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
