AI Per Person Costs?

Does anyone have estimates on what the cost ranges of an AI package would be? Does this charge typically include the cost of an actual reception on the day of the wedding? Or is that per person cost usually above the regular daily AI rate?

AI Resorts can have huge differences in price...some examples of this would be because: # of stars, resort size, location, and types of food and beverage (Premium/Top Shelf to basic/generic brands).

 

Some places offer Weddingmoon packages (Sandals/Beaches) and some have Free packages (Riu) for the number of rooms you have and other such details. Even with that being said, in Jamaica, you still have to pay for your officent and which depends on the resort. If you are looking for a private reception or even a cocktail hr after your wedding.. almost all charge for this. Where I got married a formal reception with dinner in a private setting was $75 per person. A 1 hr cocktail reception was only $15 per person.

 

You can certainly get past paying for anything for your reception though. You could decide to dine at one of the restaurants they have on the property with your guests. Granted it may not be as private but you can do that.

 

Have you thought about a resort yet or narrowing your choices down yet?? This would be helpfull as past brides can tell you all about the resort and what the real prices are.

The cost of the AI will only include their room/meals/alcohol.

 

Anything additional (wedding/reception/etc) will depend on what package or a la carte items you choose.

 

AI's vary greatly in price from resort to resort - so it is virtually impossible to nail down an average. If I were you I would figure out your budget and then search AI's to find ones that fit.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
