I love your list, may have to duplicate those selections

Although our first dance is Kem - Share My Life

father-daughter dance - I Loved Her First - Heartland

mother-son dance - Mama - Boyz II Men

cake cutting - Put It In Your Mouth - Akinyele   (you have to be a hip hop fan to know this song is super explicit, but 1 of our groomsman is making the instrumental version have just the girls part of the chorus, so it will be funny for all the young ones and the older ones won't know the song so they won't be offended LOL)

bouquet toss - Single Ladies - Beyonce

garter removal and toss - Lets Get It On - Marvin Gaye

first dance - still totally undecided - maybe Here I stand - Usher??  we have to have something r&b and I'd like something newer

everything else I am still working on :)

Oh, I love that song! The first time I heard it, I cried!

We are not doing a father/daughter dance, but rather combining it with the mother/groom dance, and then my mom and his dad are going to dance too, so sadly this song will not work as well. Stuck on ideas, by the way, if anyone has one. I do like "Sunrise, Sunset," since I love Fiddler on the Roof (as does FI and his family), but it has been done to death! Need something else! Maybe "The Rainbow Connection"; that is my ultimate all-time favourite song; do you think it fits a parent dance?

These are all great ideas!

We aren't doing the traditional father/daughter dance but instead will be combinging the father/daughter dance and mother/groom dance.  I am trying to find songs that would work.  Does anyone have any ideas?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
