Well just to give you girls an update, I talked it over with Cain and were driving to Chicago on the 7th to get this sh*t taken care of. Since they can't say for certain that I'll have it back in time, we think this will be the best way to go, that way I have it in my hand and I can verify that it's correct. The part that sucks is that we will still have many family members still in town from Missy's wedding so we won't be able to spend as much time with them. But this is the only day we could squeeze it in.

Just keep trying that number, if it hangs up on you, try again. Once you get through plan on waiting on the phone for at least an hour before you actually talk to someone. If you go to their website you can check the status online, if it doesn't come up then I would call that number, it means theirs a problem (TRUST ME) But remember it should show up about 4 weeks after you apply.

This is seriously bad times! I can't believe that all the passport trouble is going on with all you ladies. I bugged my dad for months to get his and he finally did, but he did it before the New Year (2007) so it came pretty quick. I am worried about FFIL. He did his really late in the game. Although he is a Vietnam vet so maybe they will get his out faster. Maybe not. Who knows!

Tammy, you stress me out! I went home yesterday and checked my passport to make sure that I don't have to worry about it for a LONG time! Thank goodness I have until 2011!

While you're in Chicago you might as well drive up and visit me too!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
