Help!! My wedding in Puerto Rico is scheduled for 4/7/09 and I cannot figure out how to make it legal!! How do I get a marriage license? I know that we need blood tests within 10days and that we have the minister sign and then we get a special stamp, but how, what, when and where Cannot find good info online all the numbers have been disconnected? Please if you can help, I'd so appreciate it, the time is ticking!!!

      Hi!
Where in Puerto Rico are you getting married?
We are getting married at El Conquistador and our wedding planner gave us a few pages of information regarding the wedding license. I'm at work right now so I don't have it with me. Not to discourage you but it was pretty lengthy. Or at least that's what I remember. Anyhow the reason I ask where in Puerto Rico you are getting married is because for a fee (again, I don't have the info with me as far as the exact cost) El Conquistador/Wedding Planner will take us and walk us through the whole thing.
You know you should post this question in the "Puerto Rico Brides" thread.
There are a few of us getting married in Puerto Rico & I'm sure they will have the answers for you.
      Sorry I'm really no help.
But don't worry, everything will be just fine!!
If anything I can email you the info I have when I get home?
