Did you try the on/off switch?
I only used one led per battery. i didn't think of 2 per battery. I didnt do the on off switch. I just took the tape off after the photo and took them apart. I'm sooo pleased! Thanks Sarah! I wasn't going to like them before, and just let them hang for color, but now they will be so much fun when it gets dark.

Sarah, did your WC or whoever setup have any problem cutting them on?

This is a great idea ladies. I just have a quick question. DO you think this would work with baskets or wicker balls?

I think they would be really cute in wicker balls, but you'd only need one light.

Carrying through customs is easy. I'm not assembling mine until I'm there so i have tons of lanterns all folded down and then I have 2 LED lights & 1 battery for each lantern and i have 70 lanterns. All my LED lights & batteries fit in a 6 x 8 envelope. Simple!

This is off topic, but where did you find your lanterns?

I bought them all over. I bought alot off of ebay, some from other BDW girls, target, and michaels. I have assorted colors and sizes.
