I noticed that there have not been any replies to this post - so I thought maybe I could contribute as an observer (not as a bride).

Many times I have seen multiple weddings conducted at once - especially at Dreams. I have never had a couple express anything negative regarding the other wedding. Usually the weddings are spread apart that they do not interfere with one another.

We have even had the brides get together and take pics at times... It's kind of fun!

So if you are worried that they will be on top of each other, put your mind at ease - these resorts are massive and, like I said, i have not ever seen a problem in the past.

I think the only way I would attend a wedding that was on the same day as my own wedding would be if it were someone close to me. Otherwise, I wouldn't attend. However, I don't think anyone close to me would even think to have their wedding within a week of mine, let alone the same day.

If you are faced with that dilemma, my advice would be to not attend.

I am one of those brides who is having a wedding at Dreams where there is another wedding happening at the same time. To be honest I was a bit worried about it, but our receptions are happening at opposite ends of the hotel and our ceremonies are hours apart, so I'm sure we won't run into each other! I think Dreams wouldn't be such a popular wedding destination if there were many unhappy brides who felt that their day was ruined by having another wedding on the same day.. It happens so often, that I think most brides don't even know that there's another wedding happening on the same day, until they arrive...

Mineaux, are you thinking of a having your wedding on day where there is another wedding going on?

I only saw one wedding a day when I was there. Is there another one booked on your day?
