TTD- Trash the tux too?

Recommended Posts

I am thinking about doing a TTD but I was looking at some pictures and it looks like the groom gets "trashed" too! My FI isn't planning on wearing a tux but he is planning to wear a nice suit that I would hate to ruin. Unlike the wedding dress, he could wear the suit again!

I would love to know how people are handling this!

HELL YA... trash the tux too!!! As you can see below my DH wore his suit to the TTD!!!

FYI, a TTD session really doesn't ruin anything! If anything at all my dress was cleaner after the TTD than it was after the wedding reception!

I don't have our ocean pics yet... they are with my pro-photographer pics... but here is a pic my SIL took of us when we jumped in the pool to rinse out the sand from my dress!!!

We didn't want to ruin my husband's suit either, it's totally something he'll wear again. So instead he bought nice pants which matched his suit and then just wore his white shirt. It worked out perfect!!

Amarillis- I LOVE your pool photo! It looks like so much fun! I always just assumed that the sea water and chlorine might ruin the dress. I am happy to be wrong!

I like the idea of using the white shirt and buying pants that match my FI's suit so we can just throw them in the washer and they will be good as new!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
