I too am getting married at the Santa Fe. Looks like there are a few of us going to be there the same week in April.

 

Date: April 25th

Time 4:00pm on the beach

Dinner: Steakhouse Terrace 6:30

We are leaving Toronto April 21 returning April 27

I still have quite a bit of planning to do.

Are you guys booking your photographer through the resort? What are the costs for photographers?

Im getting married in november at either the Palace or the SAnta Fe. The palace seems to be out of my budget for my guests ($1500/pp flight and hotel) The Santa Fe is coming in at about that much, seeing as i have been twice and paid much much less, I feel like my guests will be getting ripped off. I hope the Toronto departure brides not mind me asking but what pricing did you get Im also not 100% confident in my current agent so if you have an agent who has really worked for you id love there info. If your not comfortable putting the price on here feel free to email me aschier@live.ca

 

I hate to bring up the $$$ issue, its really got me at a stand still here from making a decision. The palace is about $1750, in my opinion is a better value, with so many of my friends coming, I dont think its fair to ask them to pay that much.

 

Any help would be much appreciated

Red- our guests (and us) are paying $1648 for a week's stay including departure from Toronto.

Hi! Not many guests have booked yet but myself and my fiance booked about a month ago and we are paying $1548 inclusive from Toronto. I'm not sure if prices have gone up right now as even on line they are more than that and you usually always pay more through an agent. I'm sure they will drop though!

I just looked on travelocity.ca, if you build your own package it comes out to $1487 CAD (the price is $1090 USD, for some reason they display the price in USD).

It is up and down all the time, the best thing to do is for your guests to wait a bit but make sure they book before a certain time. I gave my guests until August to book their trip!

oops, I screwed up my price. We paid $1486 including tax flying from TO...lol, i switched the numbers around!

Thank guys i feel a lot better then. BTW - if you book through an agent with sunquest - you get every 11th person free. If you have say 33 people go, say the price was $1200 + tax, you get 3 x $1200 back, in a cheque to you. Make sure your agent told you about this, i had one who did and one who didnt.

 

Im using the extra money we get back to charter a sunset cruise for all my guests.
