are the things i want possible?

Recommended Posts

hey all!

i found so many beautiful things that i love, i was wondering if i could get some feed back from the pictures i'll attach! & i'm stuck on colors, PINK & ORANGE? BLUE? or LIME GREEN? my Fiancee doesn't 'really' care, but does at the same time, what does everyone think is a good color or just pictures and to pop out against the ocean..& did anyone have a problem finding the things that they wanted @ their destination? like flowers? or the cake? or anything like that..

so i attached a word doc that has pictures of some stuff i like let me know what u think or tell me if any of this is possible? should i come back to earth or is this definitely possible with destination weddings??

I think the things u r looking for a re definately possible. I love the pink and orange it makes me want to rethink my colors. lol. ANd I just saw a flower girl dress like that and thought it was so cool looking. The top was a little more formal looking but the bottom was the same with the flowers in it.

These are definitely possible. Our colors are pink and blue w/ a pinch of lime! FI didn't like pink and orange but really like pink and blue. We aren't doing blue BM dresses cause ocean is our backdrop. Our daughter is our flower girl and is doing the tutu in either that blue or in pink. we haven't officially decided

I think your ideas are totally possible. Everything you should be able to get at the resort without a problem. Just need to plan with the WC first and find out pricing before you are completely set on some things. Your Chuppah is amazing... I wanted something similar for our day on the beach, but at the tune of 900 for them do recreate what I sent them... I had to figure out another option unless as my DH said back then "If they cut it up and send it all back to us at home afterwards Fedex... I'll pay for it".. LOL..

I personally like the look of Pink and Blue....and that's probably why those are two of my three colors, Yellow being the third. I think everything you posted is within reach. Just be sure to let your WC know your WANTS/MUST HAVES. I think everything you want is very pretty. I like the arch way...we are going to do something similar I think! Below is my inspiration, I love it!

Sure, I think it's all totally doable! I see a lot of pink and orange (or even fuschia and orange) brides. You wouldn't have a problem finding things to work with the colors at all.

Most things can be worked out long before you reach your destination..it's amazing what many of the site coordinators are able to make happen as well.

I think its all totally do-able as long as it is in your budget. I found out fast that all the little whistles and bells add up fast. I have a lot if pics of things I love but I can't afford to do all of them. I would just selectively splurge on a few things that you love that will tie it all together--like the huppa and the chair ties. For instance, I love peonies and orchids so I am using them in my own bouquet but then using cheaper flowers in similar colors for centerpieces.

There is a whole thread about orange brides too: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t26142

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
