Summer flights to Cabo from Toronto

Hi everyone,

Not planning on getting married till July 2010, but I have a question that I thought someone here might know the answer too. I am also trying to get ahold of a travel agent although this seems faster some days!

Are flights to Cabo from Toronto only Monday to Monday in the summerhuh.gif I've been in March when it was Saturday to Saturday but I think that changes at some point. Any info when??

It sucks for guests because they will have to take more than a week off....

I'm looking to get married in July 2010 at the Riu Palace in Cabo and didn't even consider the timing of flights. I was looking at my Sunquest travel brochure and for winter 2009 direct flights coming out of Toronto were on Mondays and Thursdays. I'm not sure if they have the info for 2010 flights yet.

Hi Ange,

I flew to Los Cabos in Dec 2007, March 2008 and April 2008 from Toronto to photograph weddings and Saturday and Sunday departures were available.

I just did a search online and it looks like this July there is only Monday departure.

Some of my groups used Megan Crouse, she is a travel agent, who specializes in destination weddings. Megan is based in Toronto and she might help you too. Here is her email: megan@weddingsbyoceans.com

Good luck!

I went to Cabo from Toronto in Oct 07 and we were Saturday to Saturday. When I booked our group rate last summer for our wedding coming up in Oct 09, we were told there was only Mon to Mon available, but that the days may change at *any* time. This really stresses me out, but I booked our wedding for a Thursday to try to hedge any risk that the flights would be changed to either Sat or Sun.

Taking more than a week off work is certainly not ideal, but at least you are giving your guests lots of notice. We sent our STD emails in July 08 so we gave everyone lots of time to plan their 2009 vacation schedules!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
