Hello....I am so ready to begin planning our destination wedding. We are looking at April or May 2010 in Mexico. I am thinking of either the Maya Riviera or Cancun. My potentials hotels are Dreams Cancun, Dreams Talum, Azul Blue or Azul Sensatori. Now my travel agent has even recommeded the Iberostar chains or the Palace Hotels. There are so many choices I can't make a decision. Already feeling overwhelmed. I just want a beautiful scenary and an ocean that me and my son can play in. Any suggestionhuh.gif? I am open.

Congrats Andy and welcome to the forum! You're right, there are so many amazing places to choose between. It can seem a bit overwhelming, but I'm sure you'll find the right location for you soon. I guess it all comes down to your budget and any specifics you want (AI etc). Take a look at some of the sub-forums here and you'll find lots of great info on those venues. Best of luck with the plans!

Welcome! There is a ton of information on this board to help you make your choice!

Have you seen del Sol's thread that has pictures of the Cancun/Riveria Maya resorts? It's a bit overwhelming because they are such great photographers and they make all the resorts look fantastic... but... it might help you as you make your choices!

Welcome and congrats!! Im biased but I would reccomend Azul Beach Hotel if you are looking for a more intimate setting. There are only 98 rooms and a max of 50 wedding guests. Ill be getting married there May 8 2009 but was there last year to check out the resort and its amazing! Let me know if you have any questions and Happy Planning!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
