When to give BD book?

FI and I are not going to see each other before our wedding. Here are my two questions:

 

When exactly did you give him your BD book?

 

Did you physically give it to him or did someone else?

A BD Book is a Boudoir Book. A lot of girls have Boudoir photos done as a gift to their husband on the wedding day. If you search boudoir or BD on here, you will find a lot of stuff.

 

I plan to have my book delivered to FI on the morning of our wedding. We will not be seeing each other until our "first look" before the ceremony. Another girl on here did a really cool thing with her BD Book. She gave her FI a card with a key on a chain the night before the wedding. Then the morning of the wedding, her father delivered a wooden box with a lock on it that held the BD book. So he was able to use the key to open the box...how cool! I might try to do that, but we shall see!!

Most brides, from what I have seen, send the photographer with the book before the wedding. Then the photographer can capture his emotions as he opens the book!

That's mostly what I've heard. I'm afraid he'll feel like he has to give some kind of big reaction if he knows the photographer is watching him. He also may feel awkward. I guess I will do this if I don't come up with anything else.

The locked box is a cute idea. Keeps the ideas coming ladies!

I was thinking of having my MOH deliver it (since they are good friends) a few hours before the wedding while I am getting ready.

 

Although, I do like the idea of the photographer delivering it; but I can def see the concern over his reaction if he knows he is being watched. LOL.

I am having one of his best friends deliver it, we wanted her to have some part in the wedding, so I am going to ask her to do this. I hope my photographer can catch his reaction
