If I DO get the first one, which is better, black or blue? Here's the blue:

I find it really hard to decide, especially b/c I see the appeal to all of them. The American Bridal is clearly the "nicest" and has the most features, but it's also bulkier and wouldn't be great for running errands.

The cheap-totes ones won't seem like as nice of a gift, but they would scrunch up easily into a purse, and could have a fair number of uses (although I wish they were wider).

The Amazon one is just an average bag all-around. It looks decent, the price is in the middle, and it's a little less bulky than the American Bridal bags.

The green one is a cute shape and has a tie (which I think is a great feature) but I can't see many of my guests using a bag that's almost neon.

What bags are you looking at DGG? I only need about 13 of them, so I'm a bit limited b/c a lot of sites only do bulk orders, but either way it's not an easy choice!

Edit: BTW, feel free to suggest bags I haven't posted here!
I got the ones from Amazon and they are HUGE! I really like them a lot and I definitely think our guests will use them for the beach!

Not sure if you checked out Envirosax, they are super cute reusable totes that zipper down teany tiny. They are really big in Colorado right now. They can be used for groceries or what ever. It is nice because they are a little nicer than the really cheap ones.

I have seen some size where thye give 25% off at times getting them down to about $5 ea.

I just ordered my bags off Amazon - they were 5 or 6 bags (depending on color) for $9.95. I think each order comes with a free tote bag. They come in a variety of colors and you can order either a mixed pack or a pack of a single color.

They look nice online - I can post a review when I get them.

here's the link -

grats on your choice! Those bags are a fantastic deal and look really nice, but they don't have any colors I want sad.gif I think I'm going to get those beachy ones off Amazon, but I'm going to give it a couple days. I was looking at some "shopping bags" like those envirosax ones (the Acme Workhouse I could get for about $3.25 each) but the problem is that they're completely soft with no structure, so it'd be hard to make them look nice when my guests get them full of stuff.

I think I'm going to get some party flops to put in the bags too, so now I need to decide on a design for that....and I thought picking bags was hard!!

I just got my order of tote bags from Amazon - the link is my post above - and I really like them.. They ended up costing about $2 per bag - they are a little thin but they look really good and seem strong. They have a plastic insert for the bottom (which is a little cheap-looking) but it gives the bag some shape so it'll look good filled with stuff. There is a small logo "CYMA" on the bottom and a recycling logo on the other bottom corner...

And they came in 2 days!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
