yeah, except i'm the WORST at organizing things, so i'd love it if someone else took over! LOL

just seems the NYC girls are always getting together, and philly's got nothing! i know there's a ton of us on here ... surely we can find a date and place to meet up!

Count me in for a meet and greet with the Philly (or Philly area) girls. I'm with mummergirl...I'm terrible at getting things organized. But I'll throw out a question or two out there that might get the ball rolling...

 

Weekday or weekend? What would work best? Also, would center city be the most central location given we might have people coming from center city, PA suburbs and NJ? Do we want to do a "happy hour" type thing or some other kind of get together?

i would think center city would be a pain for people ... the parking ... ugh ... i think also friday happy hours could be hard with traffic depending on where everyone is coming from exactly. just for me personally, a weekend lunch would be easier than an evening during the week, because i work late hours.

 

maybe a bar/restaurant on south street or delaware ave. might be easier? don't leave it up to me, 'cause i'll have you guys all coming to NJ, LOL!

 

from this thread, it looks like we'd have 6 people interested (if i include myself) ... and i know there are more philly-area people on here ... phillybride09huh.gif daniellenderekhuh.gif

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
