Thank you so much. I absoultely loved the dress! It was the perfect choice for me...I wanted the dress to flow with me, have some sparkle (not too much) and make me feel like a bride. It did all of the above and more. I got so many compliments. Guests from the hotel kept asking where I had gotten the dress. I am sure you will feel the same when you walk out in yours!

Hi Girls,

I am almost ready to committ to the dress, its a Maggie Sottero "Vivien" R1007 but without the sleeves. I have an appointment on Saturday for my measurements...lets see if I have the guts to order it. My wedding is in December and I am so afraid to get bored.

I'm a Maggie bride too! Well technically, Sottero & Midgley, style number JSM1136. It doesn't look even remotely the same on the website as in person since the model is wearing it in pearl rose - my dress is white. I knew I wanted a Maggie dress right from the start and I love it! It makes me feel tropical but still like a princess. I can't wait to wear it.

I bought mine from a local bridal shop, but I was able to buy it off the rack for 10% off since it was my size and color and they had another one there for people to try on.

There are a lot of us Maggie brides around!

I am officially a Maggie bride too! I tried on Maggie dresses and a few other designers but found that nothing fit me like the Maggies. Mine is a Sottero and Midgley gown SSM5049. I am IN LOVE with it! I didn't want to take it off and just pranced around the store in it! I never thought I would have that "this is the dress" moment, but when I tried this dress on, I knew I didn't have to look any farther.

If I buy a Maggie dress it will be my third dress I have bought! We were originally planning a local wedding and then changed our minds so I have a huge princess ballgown (for the ceremony) and then a classic empire a-line that is pink (for the reception)! I don't want to wear the pink dress at the actual ceremony and the ballgown is too big for a destination wedding so I'm looking at buying a third!

Thank you! I absolutely love it. :) I am getting it in white, although since it is raw silk the white is actually more like an ivory. :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
