Looking to buy a maggie sottero reese dress - I had someone here that I was planning on buying from but she has seemed to disappear.  Anyone have any sites were i can find this dress for less than the retail price?  i am not interested in a knock-off and thats mostly what i have been finding.  I am ok with a pre-worn dress as well

JelBel32:  Hi!  I bought my dress at a store in Houston.  But if I were to buy a Maggie Sottero dress online, I would use http://www.bestbridalprices.com/ They are authentic and listed as one of Maggie Sottero authorized retailers.  I looked them up on the Maggie Sottero website to verify - http://www.maggiesottero.com/stores.aspx BestBridalPrices is located at 200 W. Homer M Adams Parkway, Godfrey, IL 62035  Although the price for my dress on that website is only $100 cheaper than what I paid in a store.

I fell in love with Maggie's RD1044 online and it took me a while to track a sample down! I was also worried how it'd fit because I read on here that some brides were disappointed in how it fit on their bodies.   The first place I went to had something similar but it made me look pregnant so I was pretty sad. There was one maggie I liked there.. though I don't remember the name. Here's a pic. It was beautiful but a bit too pricey and fancy for what I had in mind for my beach wedding.   ms-2.jpg   I found the RD1044 sample at the third place I went to and it looked as beautiful as I thought it would when I tried it on. It fit soo nice and soo comfortable. (and it reminds me of Sailor Moon's Princess dress...tee hee) Here's a pic!    ms-1.jpg   I found a bridal store in the US that was selling their sample for a fraction of the price and they are willing to ship it to me. They promise there's no visible stains or tears so I'm crossing my fingers! It's coming soon!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
