Sassy, yet sophisticated stilettos -- very "Sex and the City", if you ask me!

Carrie Bradshaw, eat your heart out....they're simply divine, and will bring such a fun, youthful touch to your already amazing gown, I'm sure! wink.gif

This one looks great on me and I think would be just perfect for my destination wedding: Brianna - by Maggie Sottero

And this is the one I can't stop thinking about: Ambrosia - by Maggie Sottero

Brianna is lighter and a little more simple, modern, and sexy.

Amrosia is heavier (satin) but is just so stunning and really has that WOW factor. My own jaw dropped when I saw myself in it! But I'm not sure if it "fits" with the rest of the wedding, the feel of it. And it's a little more $$$ than I was hoping. So what's a girl to do?

I'll go back in a few weeks and try them both on again, and maybe a few others, and see if it becomes more clear. But in any case I'm pretty sure I'll end up being a Maggie bride! Really love her dresses and the new 2010 line. I can't wait to post back what I end up choosing!!!
I've just purchased "Ambrosia" for my 2011 wedding! I love it!! Stunning dress and i feel like a princess in it :o)

If you're looking for a dress that gives you a wicked shape but is light weight enough you won't totally melt down south...this is definitely a great choice! For those Toronto girls....I ordered mine from Bridal and Beyond!

What do you think?

i think it might depend on the style you chose b/c a lot of the ladies on here were told like 4 or 5 months and got them before. mine took 6 months to come in so if i were you i'd go asap just in case you need alterations

I found my dress this weekend! It is the Anniston by Maggie Sottero. I fell in love with a picture of a dress and then when I went to find it, I found out it cost $17,000!!! After that I didnt think I would find a dress I loved as much as that one but I did. It fits amazing and is going to go perfectly with how I envision everything else for our wedding. The only thing is that I am going to have it made into a deep sweetheart neckline after I get it in. I go get measured on Thursday, I'm soooo excited!!! I will post real pictures when I take some this week!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
