    How many people actually got married in DR or will be legally married in DR ot are married and only got/doing a renewal... PRO and CON of each?

      There's a blog that I read regularly and she has a post where she outlines why they decided to go with doing the legal stuff at home and then a renewal ceremony in the DR.

          That was one of the biggest things we were looking at is the time and money you save by doing it at home first. I read somewhere it was like 200 or 300 to get all the doc. change over. And at our resort it is saving us another 300. So if you are on a budget, I think your best bet would be to do it at home first.
