Has anyone ordered anything from http://www.landybridal.co/? I read parts of the beginning of this thread from 2009 and I know they mentioned a landy bridal but the web addresses do not work anymore. I was wondering if it was the same Landy Bridal because they had such great reviews back then! Just wondering if anyone has used their services recently.

I just went to Landy Bridal's website and it says 'Please be advised that www.landybridal.com has been shut down pursuant to a court order of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York issued against the website's prior owner due to its unauthorized usage of trademarks and/or copyright protected imagery in order to sell counterfeit merchandise.'

I've seen that too. But the website I'm referring to is www.landybridal.co without the 'm' at the end!

Cost: $439, I did go with the designer grade so the total of the dress was $689 including underskirt and express shipping.

Thank God I bought a White by Vera Wang on sale from David's bridal as my ceremony option. Ill end up using the same one for both, or use a gorgeous Two by Rosa Clara that my cousin gave to me (she wore for her wedding).

 

Im not thrilled about wearing her dress for the reception, even though its a gorgeous $8k dress its not what I would have picked necessarily... But I'm brining it along the wedding cruise as an option in case the first dress gets too dirty during reception (its on a grassy area by the beach).

 

One week until wedding so I can't freak out about it now. It is what it is.

 

But my recommendation is don't use dh gate unless you want it as a second gown option. Be sure you have a backup.

The beading was clearly different and of course the quality of the beads they used but everything was well sewn in.  

 

It was surprisingly even lined...

 

 

The other thing to keep in mind is sizing. I am typically a size 6 but I ordered it an 8 with the intentions of having it altered here because I rather it be too big then too small and it fit like a glove. I am glad I went a size bigger.

 

This was the original from the designer website....all in all I am very pleased and def would recommend this vendor. For $150 you cant beat it!!

So I ended up ordering my dress from dhgate seller bingbridal. I just thought the picture of the final product in the listing looked of better quality. For $215, it shouldn't be too bad.
