Ok... so after all the Jasmine pics, here are some Dressilyme pics.  The dress is almost exactly as I asked for.  I wanted my dress to sparkle a bit with clear sequins and/or beading, but think they just put on pearls or maybe I just don't see the sequins due to the lighting.  I asked to see if they could be added.  I ordered the dress only 2 weeks ago!

They basically denied responsibilities for many errors they made (which my tailor pointed out), and for the mistakes they admitted, they said that they are entitled to make errors as errors happen (how can you trust your wedding dress to this kind of attitude?). So that's the level of 'designer grade craftsmanship' you get from this dressmaker. My tailor kept on shaking her head and kept on saying that they are 'stupid' in making this error, that error...

In regards to 'designer grade fabric', they said that even though the fabric contains tiny tiny bit of silk, it is still 'partial silk' so they are not false advertising. So that's the level of 'designer grade fabric' they use.

My advise to ladies out there, if you want a really nice main wedding dress that you won't feel embarrassed by, go to a wedding boutique and get the dress from there as you can atually check on things like seams, bumps, boning, bra cups, inner layer, how see through the fabric is, material, stitching, beading, etc. But if you are looking for a dress to trash, for a reception or looking for an 'okay' or 'nice' dress, than go with Jasmine's. If you want an outstanding dress that takes people's breath away, maybe avoid them.

But this is just MY experience. Others might have had a wonderful experience with them. You just have to do what feels right for you.

I will wear the dress as I don't have money or time to get another dress, the dress is nice, it's just not of a high quality.

Wow I almost went w/ them for a reception dress from all the great reviews!  But they were too cost prohibitive.  If it's w/in 6 months and you paid through credit card I would call your credit company and dispute $300 of the charge.  They misrepresented their product in my opinion and are trying to blame you.  You can send your cc company all those photos as proof. The shoddy sewing I would expect from a ebayed dress but not for 600 bucks.

I think Kittyinheels is one of the very few dresses that hasn't met the quality expectations and I think it's mainly coz of the sheer simplicity of the dress. The fact that there is no ruching, embellishments (except for the neckline) and the type of fabric they used just makes all flaws even more obvious.

Like PP have stated, weddingbee has lots of reviews of Jasmine's bridal Shop. Here are links to a few:

OK Ladies... I don't know if you remember - but, I got my dress a few weeks back from Jasmine's and I came on here practically crying that I was so unhappy with it... But, I wasn't able to try it on properly - Cause I couldn't do it up on my own... OK - Well I am pleased to say that I found a seamstress here in Korea and took it there and tried it on - AND - I HAD MY MOMENT... Tears and all - Jasmine's did a WONDERFUL job... I love my dress...  It is a touch too big (yay!) So, I am having the back taken out a bit more so the lace can be tied more... And the boning in the front causes a bit of bunching, hopefully when it can be tied tighter - that will help - but that's just me being picky...But other then that - Its awesome!

Thanks Ladies.  Unfortunately, we lost the baby 2 weeks before the wedding.  It's been a bit nuts here on Long Island.  We got back from our honeymoon and within 2 weeks were hit by hurricane Sandy.  I'm just now able to post pics from Gianinar Bridal.  I was extremely satisfied with my dress!  It fit like a glove out of the bag, I just had to have the bustle done.  Sorry again for the delay in posting!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
