I've been reading backwards through the thread, but are the sizing issues with Monica bridal mostly with corset back dresses? I've only gotten a little bit through the thread but so far the dresses that were too big are all corset back, has anyone had sizing problems with normal zipper back dresses from Monica?

Ok because I had such a hard time finding info on buying a Chinese knock off I want to post a detailed review. This dress is gorgeous. Really well made. Great details, there are little beading details

Okay ladies, got it on, and it fits perfectly! Maybe needs a little tweaking around the bust...but nothing really! I will attach a few pictures of it, don't mind my lovely hair do!!

My original order had two dresses. My wedding gown with a corset was huge. The second dress was with a zipper but also huge. I have another order for a short reception dress with a zipper back that should arrive tomorrow so I will post pictures and comments as soon as I can. The first time I did my own measurements, the second time I had them done by a seamstress but they were pretty much the same. Only the waist was different.

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!  Got my dress from Babyonline today and it dosen't fit!!!!  I am so upset.  I sent them the measurements that I had professionally taken, and the dress is like two sizes too small. I don't know what to do now!!!  I was on IM with them, and we were going back and forth.  First they said they will make a new one and I just have to pay S/H, then the girl said "maybe you are just too fat". wtf.gif I couldn't believe that!  Anyway, here are some pictures.  The quality was very good and they did a good job duplicating the original.  But I can't fit in it unless I cut off a leg!  I guess I will post this for sale.  Maybe someone can use it as a TTD.

It is pretty close to the original, except..u need to stop eating for 2 months in order to fit in!  I guess they can make another one in 10 days.

I uploaded my dress's pics on photobucket.  Search prettypigpig as user on Photobucket, you will find them in my dress album.  As for the size problem, it is a mystery.  I ordered 4 dresses from Monica Bridal, 2 dresses for myself and 2 for my sisters, they all came out ok.  I ordered 1 dress from Babyonline for my disproportionally fat bestfriend, and it fits like a glove.  I guess I am lucky.

Michelle that stinks!!! I know you were really excited to get it in and finally see it and try it on, at least they are willing to make you another dress and should def get the sizing right this time and then your dress will be perfect!!  I just cant believe you had a seamtress do your measurements and sent them to the maker and they got it wrong thats just crazy!

I don't know, maybe I should have my measurements taken again by someone else.  And don't think I haven't already thought about not eating for the next several months!!  I am feeling so FAT righ now.  When I put on that dress I felt like 2 pounds of sausage stuffed in a one pound bag!  I don't know what to do right now.

Michelle!!! Dont beat yourself up, they just made the dress too small or something, I think it looks great on you other than it doest zip up, I really think if they made it the right size it would fit you like a glove and look great, they just need to send you another dress!!! And if you happen to loose weight after that then you can have it taken in, but you should have the correct dress to begin with!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
