I have a 2 hoop fishtail petticoat on underneath, think I'll make the hoops a teeny bit smaller when I have the dress shortened. The veil isn't the one I will be wearing.

Please excuse the sheet I'm standing on to keep the dress clean and the various wedding packaging strewn about the place! Mum had to take the pics from the patio hence the strange photos of the door and net curtains, sorry they aren't the best.

Absolutely beautiful!! I love it. :)

We are getting married 11-12-13.  The proposal was 07-13-13, so I only had a couple months to plan the wedding.  Realized after trying on dresses that it could take up to 6 months to get and I didn't care for the price at $1500-1800 on the one I fell in love with.

I fell in love with Allure 8751.  I knew I didn't have 6 months to wait so I went to the internet and did some extensive research for that dress.  I found it in the United States and the prices was still the same.  I found it from China for a fraction of the cost.  After much research I found Dousheng and took the risk of never getting a dress, not liking the dress once received, it not fitting or the quality would be poor.  I had to get my measurements for them.  They don't make standard sizes such as 6, 8, 10 and so forth.

The dress took about a month and a half to make and I LOVE it! Duosheng have 3 price options.  I went with the middle option.  Each option was about $100-150 more for detail and material quality.  But really how am I really going to know if its better than standard quality.... It cost me about $500.  I paid through PayPal.

They shipped it earlier than expected through DHL and they send tracking asap.  It took 3 days to get to me once shipped.

They had the best communication.  Every email I sent was replied to right away.

I would recommend Dousheng to anyone looking to save pennies or that waiting 6 months doesn't fit your time schedule.

Hi Tinkerbell82

I ordered a dress from Babyonline.  It came very similar to the design and fit exactly to my measurements which was great.  The only tip I would have is to constantly communicate with them and request pictures before shipping.  I didn't request picture and my plain lace dress ended up with some silver bursts of sequins on it.  I complained back to the Babyonline and they were wonderful about it and said that they would give me a refund for how much it costs to have a tailor remove all the sequins by hand.  I haven't done it yet, but I would still reorder from Babyonline again because they were very responsive.  I don't have any Weddingdress88 experience I can compare to.

Hi I ordered my dress online from an ebay seller and I'm getting a little worried its been 35 days since I ordered. I only had to pay 10% of the cost as a down payment which was $57 so if they do screw me that is all I will have lost but what worries me is that my wedding is 2 and a half months away. How long did it take for others to get their dresses? The sellers ebay name is heravintageco and their email is heradresscompany@gmail.com has anyone heard of them or had experience with them? If they don't deliver on my dress does anyone have any suggestions about who might make one for me in less than 2 months. Please help I'm so nervous!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
