I paid $26 dollars canadian including shipping. I'm glad i didn't spend the money. here is the link: http://stores.ebay.com/Venus-Veils

Thanks!!

Has anyone ordered from or know of Zizi Bridals?  They gave me a quote $100 less than Jasmine's Bridal and the works looks just as nice.  I can't seem to find much on them though; their website is apparently being rebuilt, but here is their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/ZiZi-Bridals/214265621992508

The email is zizibridals@gmail.com and the name listed comes through as Zaynab Zubair.  She's very helpful and seems knowledgeable, but I am worried that I haven't seen anything about this company on this thread...

Thoughts?

I totally agree! I told my mum to take it to a seamtress but she thinks the cups are sewed into the lining and they won't be able to remove it but I think they can. we will see if she listens to me closer to the wedding.

I'm looking for some advice. I had my MOH, bridesmaids, and chatelaine dresses all picked out from David's Bridal's online website (F12284) in our wedding colors, watermelon, lapis, and I thought peacock. However, when I went to the store to check out the dresses in person, I found out that the color I really wanted was not the darker peacock but the more teal color oasis.

Here's my problem. F12284 does not come in oasis. According to David's Bridal this leaves me with two options, either choose a new dress style that comes in our colors or substitute the oasis color I want for jade (the closest color to oasis for that dress).

Maybe I'm asking too much, but I don't like either options so I want to order the oasis dresses from overseas. I checked with Milly's Bridal and they will do it for $138, which is $39 more than the David's Bridal dress. So here are my questions for you

1) Anyone have any experience ordering chiffon bridesmaids dresses from China?

2) Anyone have advice on who might be able to make this dress style reliably?

3) Anyone have any other suggestions than any of the ones I have included in this post.

Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
