We're doing the ceremony and photo shoot on July 4.

 

I had babyonline contact me on Monday and say it would be another few weeks to make the dress.   There is no way they are fixing quality; they just haven't done anything yet. 

 

The chats that I've had through online chat don't ever get relayed to whoever I'm contacting through messages.  Yesterday both the chat people and messaging people had no idea about when it would be done.  I asked for a refund and contacted paypal and got my money back.  I just don't have the several more weeks it would take to get it, alter it and get everything else prepped in the meantime. 

 

I received my refund this morning.

 

I also bought a dress on ebay that I had tried on a while back.  I think I can make alterations to it to acheive the silhouette I was looking for and a mermaid crinoline for extra pouf.

I hate my dress.  Well, not entirely.  Just the top part of it.  Right now it's stuffed in my parent's closed and I don't even care to look at it.  I sent pictures to babyonline with my complaints and they said they'd send it to their factory.  At this point, I just want an entirely  new dress.  I was so nervous about the way the bottom of the dress would look, and what turned out horrible was the top.  It's a good 3-4 inches too big, lumpy, the fabric just seems to be way too detached to the bottom layer, and the darn lace up looks crooked.  Overall, I think they just made it too fast and careless.  There's parts that aren't sewn properly, and colored pieces of string stuck inside the folds.  I'm so bummed because the skirt really does look good! If I could just cut it in half and have them redo the top part it would be fine.  Although it does bother me that some parts are sewn incorrectly.  Anyway, I also asked them to make a belt.  They said it was top quality and charged extra.  It looks like a piece of crap.  Seriously! It's NOTHING like what I sent them.  It looks like a children's dress belt.  I don't even know how they think they could get me to accept that.  Anyway, I'm so disappointed.  I'm ready to go spend a couple thousand on the read dress now.

I'm so sorry to hear about that!! Don't you have any pictures?? sometimes the girls here can give you hints on how to make it better.. when is your wedding? i'm just a month apart from mine and I'm waiting for my 2nd babyonline dress.. i asked another one from them because I was so happy about the results of my first dress.. I'm getting really concerned about what I'm reading about Babyonline. My first dress was really well sewn, so beautiful (for a 150$ dress). Althoug i've seen some 2,000$ handmade dress that looks terrible too.. Please post your pictures, it's nice to share and it can be conforting too...

Sorry to hear about ur dress, but the dress that you want is $8000 USD or $4000 USD second hand.  You can also get it for $1400 at David's Bridal with a $120 belt.  If I have time, I would totally goto Davids bridal.

I understand your frustration.  Please don't despair.  I would still suggest contacting Jasmine's BridalShop.  Although the do knock-offs, I have to say, I have not seen any other company's work that impressed me more.  PM me if you have any other questions.

i am so sorry to hear this.  If the bottom is great and the main issue you have with the top is the size and some stitching you might want to take it to a seamstress for alterations.  It would be quicker than sending it back and remaking it.
