Thanks! I definitely will share once I get it, I'm still in the process of working out details with them since I do want to make some adjustments. I went with http://www.dressilyme.com/ I found them through this thread as well. Everyone here has been great and helpful! I wouldn't know what to do without this site! cheesy.gif

Mocha,

I am sorry to hear that, I hope your dress will arrive on time, and will fit 110% perfect!

Positive vibes~~~~

780 Chick,

If you don't want polyester satin, then you must go with silk satin, so not many sellers will take ur order and at that price, u will be better off getting the original one on a sample sale.

Beachy,

Can't wait to see your dress

Bee 86,

$59 is a steal! LOL! at first, I thought it was a pregnant woman's dress...heehee

LeilaMarie,

Never heard of Ava Bridal, but if all the ebay reviews are good, I guess they are good.

OK, I know this sounds a bit mean, but I will say it again, DO NOT order ur dress a few size smaller because you think you may loss some weight if u r lucky/stress/happy/angels watching over u...etc.  You didn't achieve the current weight because you were unlucky/relax/unhappy.  Of course, if you are dedicated to loss weight and run like a hamster on a wheel 24/7 and eating rabbit food every meal, then it is different story.  Your man love the way you are, and a too-small dress is not repairable.

Thanks Bonnie... I definitely need the good vibes.

And I totally agree about ordering a dress too small. You can always have a dress altered to be taken in. If it's too small there's a slim chance of any seamstress being able to make it fit. It is definitely harder for most people to lose weight, and nothing looks worse than trying to squeeze into a too small outfit. I actually considered adding a little because I know I will indulge the days before our wedding.

lol it is funny you say that prettypigpig, the reason we got dresses like this is because my sister will have only JUST given birth 2 months before my wedding and is worried about the "jelly belly" and another of my BM's is larger and didnt want anything that would cling to her and show "lumps n bumps" so we figured the almost maternity style was suited for what they were looking for :P

I am sure they will look beautiful once they are on! AND on a more exciting note they were shipped today so when I receive them I will post some actual pics.

I know they are NO WHERE near as exciting as all the beautiful wedding dresses we are seeing but I am still excited about my online purchase and figured I might as well post them here incase anyone else is looking at getting BM dresses! ;o)

Thanks for doing that, I am looking to possibly get my BM dresses on a knock-off site as well, as I would like to custom size since one of my BM's is a F cup.

Ladies

These are not knockoffs but they are a great price! I know we are all about saving money on this forum.

I am so excited!!!! smile123.gif I finally ordered my bridesmaids dresses. If any of you have read my previous post you may know that at one point all of my bridesmaids had dropped out on me. Well, I could not order dresses because my bridesmaids were an ever changing situation. We think we have it all in order now but you never know lol. Anyway, I am a member of the Ideeli website and today they had a sale on the Ravon convertible dress. It was only $69!!!!!!!!!!!!! And one size fits all!!!!!!!!!! And in my wedding color!!!!!!!!!!! Yipeeee!!!!! Needless to say I ordered 4 for all the girls (my treat because they are spending so much and using vacay time just to come). I am so happy! I love the versatility of this dress and I am sure that they will all be able to wear it again and again (even if they gain weight lol). Below are a few pictures of the dress as well as a link to a video demonstration of the dress (the one on the model in the video is the exact one that I bought).

The sale ends tomorrow if anyone else is interested (I believe the short dress is only $50 or so). PM me if you would like an invite to join the Ideeli site. They always have great sales on everything. The retail price of these dresses are usually $150 and up.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
