ordered a gown from ebay seller iren.iren. just received today, was so excited i opened it right away at work....then couldn't stuff it back into the tiny package  undecided.gif

it's a replica in a different colour of maggie sottero amara royale for my AHR. i'm quite happy with it, fit is a little loose but i think that's because i've lost some weight since i ordered....and tying the lace-up at home alone doesn't help....

hmmm...for some reason i can't post pix, so i uploaded them.

definately not bad for the price as materials used felt quite nice.

rosieposie, it's pretty!! The stuffing in the bag probably caused the wrinkling. Hang it up and have it professionally iron/steamed and it will look fab on your big day!!!
Thanks! Yes, definately need to get it iron/steamed out. I'm running out of room in my already little closet =P

@Brandy Thank you so much for posting your replica of this dress! Your pictures, along with the previous replica pic you posted WAYY back in this thread were very helpful! I kept reading and reading hoping you posted again w/ pictures :) And your dress turned out beautiful! I'm having the same dress made by Jeff Lui on ebay. So far, aside from the language barrier, he's been helpful and responsive. It should be done in a couple of weeks & I'm crossing my fingers, I will for sure follow up here & on Weddingbee. Here's a pic of the Maggie original- wish me luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
