Thank you ladies so much!  I actually accidentally posted it on my personal account - here's the link to my Frugal Fun & Fabulous account.  I'm working on a follow up video with more info & the TTD pics! :)

Wow Tinker bell the insight is really good and important for me. Weddings cost so much and to get a dress as well constructed for "silly" money is awesome. You looked incredible and I'm definetly going to use the seller. Thanks again. I'm so excited now!

As an FYI/ after reading through this entire thread for a week, and deciding I would be definitely going this route- one thing that was clear was that some vendors were better of others at certain styles,,.. There are some that can send samples of multiple types of lace they use, and offer a variety of options, and some only have 1 or 2 types that they use. There are some great companies out there for sure! This looks to be one of them!

  • 2 weeks later...

There is a VERY active board on another forum about Jasmine's bridal (a custom shop out of a china) that is amazing.., I've been following it and the dresses being created for brides are simply breath taking... So my decision has been made! I'm going to set some appointments to go "no limit" dress shopping to get an idea of silhouettes that look great and designers I love- and then will have Jasmines make my dresses (ceremony/TTD and reception). My BMs are excited that we get to go try on $20,000 dresses!

They will also have their BM dresses made over seas which allow me to treat them and keep their costs down considering their expenses in attending the wedding.

do you know whats the difference between babyonline in DHgate and Babyonline.com? are they both from the same company? thanks :)

I believe yes, they are one and the same... DHGate simply acts as a middle man which some people like because they arent handing the money direct to the dressmaker.

Do not buy dress from the Hera Dress Company. They sell on EBay and Etsy. They are US based but get their dress from China and turn around and sell it to you for at least double the price. You think it's made in US but it's not. Save your money and use the other Chinese sellers as recommended on this forum. Good luck!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
