So.... my Babyonline order has shipped out and today I received pictures of what to expect!!!! As I mentioned in my previous post, I ordered 3 dresses from them. Just an FYI: I did have to pester them A LOT to send me photos. Before I post the pics, let me say that overall their work is good but as far as making accurate replicas is concerned....not so much. The first 2 dresses I am semi-okay with, also with the hopes that my petticoat/crinoline will shape them properly. The 3rd dress was my big risky Vera Hayley knockoff and the only one I truly hoped would turn out the best of all 3. All dresses were ordered in ivory and corset back. Also all dresses were made to be drop waist because mermaid shapes do not work for me, nor does puffiness from the waist. I've got me a short torso :(
I think dresses look great! From my dress shopping experience, I've discovered nothing looks as good on a hanger as it does on the body with the full skirt underneath on. I have a feeling you'll be pleasantly surprised by the dresses when you put them on with everything. :)

CAN WE SAY GORGEOUS!!! You look A-MAZE-ING in that dress! Fits your body so well!!! Did you go with Jasmines? I can't remember!!! So many messages on the board! Lol!!!

Yep I am getting married at the ROR which one are you getting married at? Thats good to hear its nice! hard to know other then by looking at pics because I havent been there yet. My cousing got married at the Riu in NEgril and he said it was awesome. But it was a bit more Pricier. So we went with OCHI and we are going to do our honey moon in Negril. Possibly at the Riu! lol

We decided to do it at Secrets WIld Orchid in montego bay, but we're getting a bus and taking everyone to dunns river in ocho rios. As for ROR, that was actually our first hotel visiting because i knew someone that had their wedding there. we set up an appointment to tour the place. the buildings are bright lavendar, which kinda caught us off guard lol but it's really pretty there. nice landscape in the entrance of the hotel. THe beach was crowded when we visited, but of course it was high season, we went like first week in january, or end of december, somewhere around there. We were trying to see as many hotels as possible in order to pick where to get married.  they are very strict with letting people on their property, actually most of the hotels/resorts are for safety reasons which is great. staff is nice, but of course if you tip them they are EXTRA nice lol that's anywhere though.

Actually we're staying at Secrets WIld Orchid and getting married at Seawind Beach Club which is on the same property, just next door. they have more flexibility with options (especially the food, i wanted real jamaican food, oxtails, jerk chicken rice and peas plantain lol etc.)

They seem a little sketchy, but then again the website guarantees that they don't give manufacturer your money until you are satisfied. I read from one lady that she ordered a long sleeve dress and the sleeves were at her elbows, she was totally upset. So please keep me posted.

Has anyone found out anything more about AliExpress?  I got a quote from them but I know nothing about them...  I will send the dress off to Babyonline for a quote as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
