Wondering if any of you have heard of topspartner.com? I did a search in here but no go. My friend got 2 dresses from this lady in the company (from China, lady's name is Kathy) and the dresses had great workmanship.

I am in love with Maggie Sottero's Caprice dress and have thought about asking some of the companies in china to make it. If any of you have heard of topspartner.com specifically plz advise!

Here is my friend's dress, their wedding is under "Jesse and Emily" - http://www.reinercarlos.com/category/destination/

no i have never heard of topspartner.com.... i wish you all the best with your dress shopping! and emily's dress looked very nice!!

i have been checking around alot also... im so much in love with lace gowns.. soterro and Midgley's Tracey... that one in particular. i've been checking to see who had the best lace dresses and Jasminesbridalshop.com they are REALLY good with lace their finish products is stunning. atleast those that i saw on here and those from their customers blog page. but they are so damn expensive :S..... i guess its worth every cent. but since you are just looking for a reception dress maybe you should go with babyonline, 189usd is a great price!

please post pics and allure 8959 is a stunning dress!

i have ordered my two dresses and i wont say im in love lol but they have certainly grown on me.  obviously i did not have as much info about purchasing knock offs as i do now.  but i will be ordering another dress to compare.  i ordered from keren wedding they were initially on alibaba.com but it seems they are no longer registered.  this is the dress i liked.CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 100

this is the dress on me.400

as u can see the dress shud have had some beading work on the side which wasnt done.  but when i informed her she agreed to send me the beading so i can get it attached as well as a belt to wear with the dress.  so obviously that help soothe my sorrow :-)  the back of the dress was meant to be corset but they had put a zip which kinda sux but they are also sending me extra fabric to get that fixed.  i would obviously have preferred to have a situation where they had done it right but alas.

i was worried the dress would be small so i had given slightly bigger measurements so the dress needs some serious alterations but nothing ridiculous.  i am sure once the dress has been steamed it will look heck of alot more nice.  my mom isnt loving it coz its plain but thts what i liked about this dress.

400

the second dress is super cute.  im not loving were the pink belt is places but that may have to do with my measurements not being exact but im so sure i will have loads of fun with this.

i would def recommend them all i would suggest is get them to send pictures before they ship.

i am considering making one more purchase since i have seen good reviews of babyonline

700

Hi all! After much deliberation I decided to take a risk and order my dream dress from DHgate. My dream dress is an essence of Australia D1463 and is a little out of my budget as we are already spending lots going from the UK to Mexico for the wedding. This is a lot cheaper and the people making the dress had good feedback and were very fast at replying! Fingers crossed it all works out!!!

Amazing, and my sis was so kind and surprised me by buying it! Needless to say lots of happy tears :)

Congrats Carla! Which DHgate seller did you use? I'm a UK bride too, Suffolk, and we're planning a honeymoon in Mexico :)

That Essence dress is lovely, make sure you show us when it arrives!

I've pretty much decided on using Babyonline at Dhgate, just need to wait to get my measurements taken by a seamstress and try on another couple of dresses in bridal shops just to be sure!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
