I got my dress... Its amazing quality material and looks just like the picture. I paid for very high accuracy. The highest shades of pale does and its so worth it. I would do it all over again. I did tell them that my wedding day is a month before my actual wedding day so I could guarentee that i would have my dress. I need some alterations and they forgot to put in the bustle. I will post pictures when its finished.

Option 1: Landy Bridals

Cost of dress is $280, made out of elastic satin with chiffon over top. There is no option for standard or high quality.

Option 2: Duosheng

Cost of standard quality for dress is $269.00 or high quality is $388.00. The dress is only made of chiffon.

I have been leaning towards Landy Bridal as they have more information on the website and I have come across a lot more reviews. I like the Landy dress because it is elastic satin layered with chiffon. Am I looking into this too much?? Can someone please give me some input as to what they would do based on these two options or advise as to what else I should be looking into. I have attached a picture of the dress from Google. Thanks ladies :)

HELP!

Please, please, PLEASE stay away from Fabulous U!  I posted a LONG while back about the disaster I received from them.  The dress cost more to repair than it did to buy originally.  I paid over $700 for a dress that I hated and ruined the majority of my wedding pictures because it looked AWFUL!  My dress had similar ruching to the dress you are looking for and they screwed that part up BIG time!  The ruches were individual pieces of material in some places and if you turned the wrong way you had threads sticking out.  Awful, awful, awful.  Look elsewhere, please.  They did great embroidery work, but it couldn't hide the fact that my dress was poorly made :(

Thanks so much! I was leaning towards FabU because they have been so helpful in their emails compared to the other people that I have contacted. I'm sorry that that happened to you. Shades of Pale it is then. Luckily, they sent me a similar, not exact, dress to mine and I just loved it. Glad I waited to hear back before purchasing.

If I can just keep one bride from feeling the disappointment I did when I saw my dress for the first time then I'm happy :)

I'm ready to order from Shades of Pale, but am having trouble matching up the original dress colour (which I LOVE) with the samples they provided.  The original looks like it almost has a peachy undertone, especially when I tried it on in person and held it up to an ivory dress, but all the sample colours look brown in comparison.  What do you all think?  Here is the original dress:

And here is the colour samples:

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
