Hi, I got an email from gianinarbridal today after I complained about the belt and the veil. I paid $30 for the veil and $20 for the belt and $25 for shipping (so total of $75). They said that they will refund me $45 and I can keep all the products. This actually sounds pretty good to me, so I accepted (I think they didn't spend much time on labour and money to get the fabrics to make the belt and the veil so they might have thought it's easier to just make me go quiet by giving me refund). So I got a belt (which I need to sew them together myself) and a veil (which I need to trim and fix myself) for $30. All in all, that's not too bad (I am starting to like the veil), but I still won't buy a dress from them, especially when they quoted me $359.

Jasmine's Bridal quoted $400 for the standard grade dress I want with various upgrade options (all the way to $800 if I used both designer grade materials and craftsmen!). They certainly look and act more professional, seem to use better quality materials and workers and there seems to be better promises and guarantee. But not sure if I want to upgrade to pay $800 for a dress bought online...

Has anyone bought from Jasmine's Bridal with premimum grade and deisgner grade? Please let me know of your experiences. :)

I ordered a belt/sash which all the belt parts weren't even sewn together. What were they thinking? The veil was of low quality material and the lace trimming had threads coming out of it plus veil fabric wasn't properly trimmed. The price they charged is a lot more compared to other dress makers (and they do poorer job).

Their communication is very slow too, they initially said that the belt and the veil would be ready in 5 days. It took more than a month! If I didn't nag them, it would have taken them longer!

Maybe just bad luck, but I can't recommend gianinarbridal to other people.

To all of you ladies who have not decided on their dress maker - Jasmine's Bridal is absolutely amazing! I received my dress last week, but have been too busy to take photos for all of you. I should be able to do it in next few days. I was absolutely amazed with the quality of my dress and its beauty. I am on cloud nine and could not be any happier. The original dress is $1600 not including the alterations, Jasmine's charged me almost $600 and it was the best choice I've ever made. Communications were superb, customer service was outstanding. I highly recommend, especially if your inspirational dress is very detailed and costly.

Cheers!

I bought mine from babyonline and it did not appear to be cheaply made, the materials were nice, the stitching was well done, and the dress is actually heavy...Jasmine's may be even better as they cost three times as much

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
