Ok ladies so I received my Dress from Jasmines Bridal Shop!  I posted the pictures they sent me earlier in the thread and promised to follow up.

So the dress arrived promptly and the tracking number they sent to me accurately tracked my order.  I was actually out of town when it was delivered.  Here is a photo of how it arrived.  I am amazed they got it all crammed in this bag.Picture1.jpg

After opening the gray package there was another two plastic bags that had been cut open I am assuming it has something to do with getting through customs or something (the dress was not damaged from someone opening the bags) and then the dress.  I was very happy to find that they turned the dress inside out for shipping! I should note that the dress was also folded up very nicely.

Now the dress!  :)  I have to mention I am very happy with my dress! I did not have it laced all the way up and the top was not pulled tight enough but you get the idea.     Picture7.jpgPicture9.jpg
The inspiration Dress Clarice1.png     I have included some pictures below to show the inside of the dress and boning.  I am overall very happy with the quality of the dress!   Picture3.jpgPicture4.jpgPicture5.jpg

Once again I am really pleased and happy with the work that Jasmines Bridal did.  They are more expensive but they were very pleasant and easy to work with!   Please let me know if there are any questions as I would be happy to answer them!

So this may be a little off topic but has anyone ordered or seen wedding dresses at Costco. Apparently, Kristie Kelly makes an exclusive Costco line. My mom was in Costco the other day and she said the dresses were really nice and were approximately $600-$1000 plus an additional 40% off.

Unfortunately, this is a traveling vendor who may not be coming to Montreal's costco anytime soon. :( I'd love to just look at them and try them on in person. If anyone has any experience with this vendor, please do share.

My FBIL lives in Bangkok (FI has 3 older siblings who are half thai). We visit him every year and he can have whatever he wants made, and it's VERY well done for very cheap. This year we had suits done for $250 custom tailored for the guys in the family and they picked what styles and fabric they wanted and have matching wool coats. They are great!

haha , i agree with you ~

Thank you ladies for all the wonderful comments.cheesy.gif

Praye,

I believe I ordered the dress somewhere around June 16th and I got the dress delivered to my door around Aug 30th.  I had my first set of pictures the 11th and so I had a few minor things fixed, so I could have recieved the dress earlier.  I then recieved pictures of the dress after fixes on Aug 18th. I accepted the changes and end result of the dress, then they double checked the measurements and shipped my dress out!

Hi, i just wanted to check back in and give you an update on where I am with babyonline.

A few pages back I posted pictures of the dress I ordered (pictures from their website), and then pictures that babyonline sent me 10 days ago. None of the pictures gave a clear overview of the dress nor did it show the train. Someone was holding the dress so you could not determine the proper shape or even if it was symmetrical. I asked them for very specific photos of the dress on a mannequin and every day they promise to send them the next day, that day comes and they say tomorrow again. The excuse changes from camera issues to oh we forgot the dress is back in the factory.

If they told me they were working on it and would send pictures next week I could deal with that, it's just the continuous BS day after day and not knowing if they are even working on the dress and will I actually ever get the photos. At this point I am looking at other China vendors and once I find a backup I am going to cancel this order. :-(

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
