Thank you so much!  I am just nervous about which company to choose.  It seems like so much rides on it.

Wow, these dresses are so cute!  Will you remind us who you used to make the dresses?

I was a little nervous the past 2 days, but was tried not to think about it too much. I ordered four bridesmaid dresses and I think they turned out great! I took the photo with my phone, so it's not the best quality, but hopefully you can get the idea. I'm glad I didn't stress too much. The dresses seem to be made very well and the overall quality of the chiffon is nice. Thoughts? For $90 or so these can't be beat!

First is the inspiration, second is the knockoff...

I found this dress on Craigslist today in Portland, OR...I'm sure you could offer her less and at least you'd be getting an original so it's less of a gamble.

I want to get a replica Maggie Reese dress for my TTD.  Any suggestions on who would be the best to make this dress.  The dress itself I think it simple, it's the beading that | am worried about.  I don't need it to be 100%, bit don't want the bead work to look skimpy either.  I have read through each page of this thread, and know that some place are better at certain types of dresses.  I know I would be spending a fraction of the dress's true cost (if bought "real") but don't want to loose hundreds of dollars on a gamble either.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer.  I really don't know where I would be without BDW.

Thanks! I like them too :) I ordered them from babyonline. Overall it was a good experience. Communication was a little lacking towards the end of the process, b/c Sunny was on vacation. Luckily everything turned out ok!

I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses from a knock off in China.  I was a bit nervous about them, they were only $75.  Yet they arrived faster than estimated and they all look great quality! I have already passed them on to the girls.  I'll make sure to take pics of them the next time I see them!

hey girls :) I need your help. I am getting married mid of November this year. So i need the dress to be here the latest End of October. I contacted duosheng and the lady is really really nice they want 300 Dollars for  the dress i want, and 400 dollars for better quality. I was about to order with them, then i got an email back of gianinarbridal and they only want 150 dollars for my dress. I am super confused and dont know what to do know. Since I cannot afford the dress which would cost me 1500 Euro (were stationed in Germany) I really need a dress from china but i do want it to be perfect. Ive read some posts that had trouble with gianinarbridal because they were late. So should I with duosheng? please help me :)

So I know I promised pictures of my dress from babyonline, but I don't have any yet.  Overall I can say that I am not happy with the dress.

I do not have pictures because the dress doesn't fit.  It is definitely at leat two sizes smaller than the size requested.  I matched my measurement (taken profesionaly) with the best standard size and I can not even get the dress on.

The material is also very thin.  In most wedding dresses there are a few layers to the botom to give it some volume.  This dress was litterally just two pieces of satin sewn together.  They included a hoop skirt, which I am guessing was intended to give volume.  The dresses was a mermaid and the hoop skirt looks ridiculous with it.  The fabric is so think that you could see the outline of the circles in it.

I also requested for the belt to be solid beading with rhinestones and pearls with no sequins.  They said that they could do this.  There was not one pearl on the belt.  There were several sequins though.  Overall the belt was probably one of the better aspects, but still not anything that I will ever use.

I have sent a message to babyonline highlighting some of the issues.  I am waiting to hear back on what they are willing to do.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
