I need help choosing between these two dresses!

I also can't decide which vendor to use since there is a significant amount of lace on both.  Babyonline quoted $215, Topspartner is at $365, Jasmine's is at $429, and bigdaydress is at $390

(all include shipping)  I'm leaning toward topspartner because of the money back guarantee but I'm am totally on the fence.  Babyonline's price looks good :)

Any ideas??!

tdmaus-your dress is great!  I can't believe they made those custom changes for you!

Ebay is an auction so it goes to whoever has the high bid when the auction ends.  I usually do not have any problems with ebay and have been buying and selling for years.  I found this fairly newer seller to dresses and they are so unique.  They are not like anything I've seen before.

I asked about the color of the dresses after the auction ended only to find out that the seller said they do not do a lace overly, instead they embroider!  I'm not paying for an embroidered dress.  I can't even image how they would get it to look good anyway.  So I'm asking for my money back.

Now, here's where I need help!  Does anyone know the original designer of the dress????  Or has anyone seen this on a knock off website before??

Thanks for the help!

I was in a similar situation, and one of the brides on here used something called "google goggles" to help me find the original designer of a dress.  I have no idea how it works, but I think it took her no time to find out something that I had spent HOURS searching for!

I used babyonline to make a champagne coloured dress and while the dress is very pretty, the colour is more a peachy colour, it actually looks like the colour of the pinker fresh water pearls, lovely but not really what I'd consider champagne.  They also make one dress for me that was supposed to be chiffon and they made it in organza despite me saying 'exactly like the picture' then made me pay an extra $45 to have it remade in the right material, not much money I know but annoying when it wasn't what I'd asked for.  They did do a good job but the lace applique which was supposed to be over my hip was actually placed directly over my groin in a bizarre 'Adam and Eve' highlighting kind of way and the same for the hip gathers, which were in the centre of the dress.  The dresses I got were still beautiful and the lace work amazing but the sizes were way huge.  Specify EXACTLY what you want.

I have just used a different seller for the bridesmaid dresses (yourdresses) and I think they did an awesome job if the pictures are anything to go by (we'll see when they arrive).  Their communication is excellent as well and prices great.

I think I found my dress!  Now I need help choosing who can make it the best.  I actually love the top and back of Private Label by G 1340; but love the bottom of Private Label by G 1312 (because the lace is rounded and finished at the very bottom and the lace design goes all the way down the front seams, instead of showing any of the seam - which it does on the 1340).  The 1340 I tried on in the store was Ivory with Rum accented lace.  I love it when the lace is accented with a slightly darker color like champagne or rum.  I'm not sure if the below pictures do it any justice, but you get the idea.  Any recommendations on which online "knock-off" site I should use??

Prettypigpig - I love your dress and the lace job on it - I think you said you used Babyonline.  Do you think they'd be able to do the color accent I want and all the beading?

Ok girls, I got pictures of my dress from Babyonline today and so far I can't say I'm impressed.

(1) The quality of the pictures aren't great, (2), I can't even see the neckline, bust, back, train or anything of the dress!!, and (3), from what I can see I'm not so sure I love it.

Anyways, firstly are the pictures they advertised right on their website :

And here is what they emailed me :

3. Close up of neckline and bust area (you included none).
4. Close up of the hem
5. Picture of the train
6. Picture of interior boning and bust area.

They should place it on a mannequin in order to evaluate the shape and take better pictures.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
