Hello Everyone!

Although I am not having a destination wedding, I am finding this thread very helpful. I am getting married in 2012...a date hasn't been set yet but I am already preparing for my day! I have only one friend that I know of that purchased her wedding gown from Landy Bridal. She had an extremely long train but her dress was beautiful none the less. I have fallen in love with a Lazaro dress but it baffles me to pay $4,300 for a dress I will probably have on a total of 8 hours (if that )...So I have been reading everyday for a little over a week to see what everyone has to say about replica dresses. Now I am just wondering who is really the best to order from. I have a few ideas of what else I like just in case I can't get a dress like the Lazaro.

This is the Lazaro dress I really like but at times I wonder if it is really the right type of dress for me considering I am 5'1.5" tall...

So who would you all really recommend to use for getting my wedding gown? I have tried to get on Duosheng's site but it keeps saying that the site is down. Thanks for all your help!

Mocha,

Your dress is absolutely lovely.  You are fretting over something that honestly isn't anything to fret over.  To me, it looks as though it is part of the design of the dress.  If you had posted the pix without saying anything I wouldnt have known that you have an issue with it.  Honestly, the dress is gorgeous on you.  Fits perfectly.  You need to let go of it - I know your emotions on are high right now because you are so close to your wedding but a seam is not something to ruin your day.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
