I personally love the Adorae and I think it looks great on everyone, its a really popular dress, Im just not sure how the satin/silk would turn out like you said, thats why I opted for a chiffon dress just to be on the safe side, if you can find a great seller that you know has good quality silk/satin I say go for it!  Buf if your really worried about how it will look you may want to go with a chiffon flowy dress which I think will look great in the water.

Thanks for all the input guys, I offered monica's $50 more to remake it and make it with 6 layers of tulle and they said they'd do it as long as I send the money first. They said they didn't want to get stuck with 2 dresses if I didn't like the second one either. That sorta comes off like they mean they won't try any harder on the second dress, but I hope it's just bad communication. Also I realized what looks so off about the top, it is just too long! So I sent them these pics, do you guys think they are detailed enough?

The flower embellishments in this last picture aren't from the real isadora dress, they are some embellishments I saw done by another knock off company, I thought they looked less complicated but still pretty so I'm hoping monica bridal can copy it with out a problem.

Wow, I don't see how they could go wrong with detailed instructions like that!  Hope the second dress comes out right!

Very good detailing shootystar. I gave even more detail when I had Monica Bridal make my pink dress.  I think that is the key to getting what you want.  I gave them measurements of everything ie  How long I wanted the train, down to the inch, the exact thickness of the beading and the embroidery.  The rep was very appreciative of all the input.  Even the measurement guide at the bottom of their order page, I had the professional take every one of those measurements.  I think it makes their job a lot easier.  I'm sure they will get closer to the original this time.  Good luck.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
