oh gosh ShootyStar! My heart aches for you! my suggestion would be persistent with them. hopefully they will be willing to work with you and fix it. It is a beautiful dress and i'll say a little prayer that things turn around for you

ShootyStar can you post up a pic of the inspiration dress?  I'm so suprised that they say they can't fix what you are asking them to do.  They have always been so accommodating with me.  The skirt on the dress is absolutely gorgeous.  I'm sure there is a way they can save this.

So sorry to hear you're disappointed.  I know it must be way off from what you had in mind, but I have to say I think the dress looks beautiful.  If there really is no way you would wear it, I would look into getting the refund.  But from my experience, dresses look a lot better on than in the photos, so maybe they could make whatever fixes they can, send it to you, and then if you're still unhappy they could give you a partial refund and then you could try to sell it to recoup the cost?  I actually had no problem selling my first dress on craigslist.
