LOL they seem really great to deal with but there is also another seller who is willing to give me a corset if they make my AHR dress and they've had great reviews too and are even willing to allow me to return the dress if i'm unsatisfied with it, i would just have to pay for return shipping, i'm just nervous thu.

Mine is missing some 'wow' factor. I need to tell them to jazz up the beading on the straps a little bit. Anyone have any ideas? I am not good with this stuff and want to make sure I give them a good idea of what I want. Does the front look a little funny to anyone?

I'm still unsure what I think....

Hi RunningBride24!  I'm also getting the same dress!  That's actually how I found this forum.  I had my friend's mom make the dress for me but I had my fitting the other day, and I think we bought the wrong color for the lining.  I wanted an ivory dress but after seeing it the other day, it looks too yellowish. =(  I thought it was just the lighting at their home but I took the swatch with me and went to Men's Warehouse.  I compared it to the ivory tux that my groom will be wearing and wow, it is way off.  There's nothing we can do about it because the dress is already done - the only thing missing are the straps.  cry.gif

Anyway, I've kinda moved on and have been looking for another dress until I found this forum.  I've read a lot of good reviews from all of you about Gianinar.  Would it be possible if you post the pics of the Billie dress?  For some reason, I'm not seeing any pics posted here.  I just want to see how close it is to the original.

Thanks!

The thing is ...in order to return the dress, u need to ship with a tracking number.  Therefore, sometimes, it is cheaper to get a discount and remake the dress than to ship it back.

I am sure there are tons of good sellers on dhgate with excellent client service, I did my research and found Suzhou Monica Bridal.  As long as the reviews are good, the chance of getting a nice dress is high.  Luckily, my dress turned out to be my dream dress.  I will order dresses for my FMIL from them later with my second dress.

Yea, you're right and Monica Bridal said they could make my AHR dress 95% to the picture where the other store said 90% and Monica Bridal is $18 dollars cheaper too. I actually just ordered a BM dress from them to see what it looks like and if it's a hit i will be ordering more. I'm super excited to get it.

Now, finger's crossed that I don't get raped on brokerage fees in the shipping to Canada! LOL

Here is the photo of the dress, the design is by Kirstie Kelly from her Disney Bridal line - the Ariel style! Perfect for the beach!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
