I cut it close so there is no real room for error.

i haven't ordered one yet - i am still so undecided on who to go with. i am stalking this thread like crazy in hopes of seeing some awesome final products that will sway my decision. this is for my real dress, not my TTD.

the red/blue dress above from gianinar looks amazing, so right now i am leaning towards them - but i have seen some nice Duosheng dresses too. and now i want to see that gorgeous romona kerveza from littlecoral. LOL.

i am such a bad decision maker!

Pam you are in the same position as me, well sort of mine is for my TTD but I have stalking this thread hoping that Luciel and other will post pics of their finished dresses. I know which dress I want I just am not sure who to go with. I am stuck between Duosheng and Gianinarbridal. I have read great reviews from both and bad reviews from both so I am stuck. Waiting to see what the most recent dresses look like before making a decision. Do you have any other back-up plans for you real dress or are you going to just go with one of these websites no matter what? I just looked at your wedding date you have lots of time. And keep me posted on your plans....since we are in the same boat sort of.

lol, I've totally been stalking this thread for months and dying to see luciel's dress since she decided to order it! I was doing the duosheng vs gianinar thing too, and then caved and bought someone's dress online. It's not a trumpet-style dreamdress, but it's beautiful and it's mine. It's so hard to decide when it's your actual wedding dress + TTD.

From the dresses posted, I think I favor the gianinar knock-offs more. Though the fit might need some alterations after.

i do have a fair bit of time, so i am okay to stalk for a while!

but i am really hoping just to go for a knockoff, as i don't have the money for a designer dress in a style i like. i will order one from china, and if it doesn't work out, i may look to David's Bridal or something.

i am a plus sized girl as well, so having a designer style dress made to my measurements is exciting to me too! the dresses i have in mind are all very simple and would be hard to botch i think *knock on wood*

i haven't even tried on any dresses in-store yet, so i will have to see if my dream dress style actually suits me!

i will keep you updated!!

Hey ladies, sorry you're still waiting for me to post pics. My friends came over and helped me try it on but FI was here so I took it off right away, and with the excitement I didnt even think about pictures. I will take pictures of the dress itself, but it looks just like the red and blue ones she send me a pic of.

If you would llke to see more feedback go on her ebay site and see all her great feedback.

And as for Duosheng I believe she also has pictures of dresses she has done.

Give me an hr or 2 to post pics :)

So I have ordered 2 different dresses from 2 different companies. One on ebay, and the other from Gianinarbridal. Is that crazy?!

I am wondering what materials were used on some of your dresses. The one from Gianinar is the Maggie Sottero Sasha dress which is made of taffeta. Mine is being made of poly taffeta as opposed to silk taffeta (I didn't want to spend the extra $250 to upgrade). I hope that I am making the right decision! Any thoughts?? Help! I am starting to feel a little stress!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
