Hi,

I got the dress. It only took 3 days to get here fom China. I have to tell you that I am really impressed with the quality and how it looks. It looks almost identical to the picture from the webside. The only change is that the ruching is not assymetrical which in my case is not flattering as I am size 14. The dress is a bit too big but true to the size I ordered. I wasn't able to lace it up properly. I will take some pics on Sunday and post them for you to see.

Overall, I am very happy with the quality and how fast it got here. I ordered it on March 1st.

Barbiegirl, I am sure you're dress will be fine!

I am not sure if I will keep it as I don't know if it is very flattering on me. As I said earlier, I might go for strapless from the same webside. I am sure I will be able to sell it and get my money back.

ALRIGHT ladies. The deposit was made tonight for my Maggie Sottero Reese knockoff from gianinabridal. I am SOOOOOOO excited to see how it comes out! They have been very responsive, which I love. Of course I'll post pics as soon as they send me the proof.

Since this is my TTD, I'm only worried about it being totally see through in the water.... oh well- I read somewhere to wear a white bikini underneath. Oh, and second fear: that I'll like this one more than my main dress! If that's the case, I cannot tell FI wink.gif

I wore mine from gianinarbridal in the water and it wasn't see through at all. The inner lining is actually pretty thick (my dress is taffeta but i'm willing to bet they'll line yours the same).

Herefishie- that looks so awesome!! I'm so happy for you!!

PS - this is probably my favorite thread.

Not sure what I will do yet....I am not crazy how the dress looks on me. It is not very flattering around the waist area. I would say it is 4 icnches to wide. I need a girlfriend to help me put it on and tighten more to see if it would look better.

FINALLY got my dress on and tied by someone other than me! I'm very happy with it.... except its a bit too big. The corset back had to be tied completely down to nothing to make it fit properly on me so I'll be getting it taken in a little. Otherwise, its perfect!

Here's better pics (I look about 4 ft tall in some of the pics from the angle she took them at!!) lolol

Here you can see how tight it had to be to fit

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
