If you want a lively place with live music this is a good choice. The food is so amazing. It's really bright and lively. The decor is super fun and there is a mariahchi band that walks around and plays (it was there all 3 nights we've been there but you might want to check to make sure they'll be there.)

Absolutely! Mi Casa has a great atmosphere, and is always lively. There's always "that table" having a great time, with a few too many margs...which is exactly why we chose it. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere and colors are even better!

Check out their website to see the colors & decor. I also took some pics I can attach on Tuesday of the space we are renting to help with an idea.

I'll post pictures of Mi Casa tomorrow, I can't upload from home...I don't have any from Edith's, but I think their website has some pretty good ones.

Thanks Jill but it turns out you don't have to....

To have the ceremony on the beach and not have it at a resort...Maye found me Baja Cantinas.....She said we could do ceremony on Medano Beach and then have dinner at Baja Cantinas.....

 

So that's what we are going to do. :)

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
