They are alot cheaper than Claudia Rodriguez, my first choice.
Hey you are going to the same resort that I am!!! I to am going to be using them for our wedding... I have seen some of their work by other brides on this forum and on their website and they look amazing... the pricing is so much better than Claudia's and I think they will do a great job! They are so promt with their responses back to me and very helpful... so I think that is why I have chosen to go with them.. I can keep you posted since my wedding will be before yours... unless you can't wait that long!!! LOL

I just went to Mexican Wedding Photo's websit and I love their work! Could you give me an estimate of what a package costs? I am just in the beginning stages of looking. We were planning on using the resorts photograher and I just keep reading about horror stories. Thanks

Here is a link to their pricing through Karisma hotels.. which is one of the resorts that I am using.. not sure if their pricing differs from this website or not.. but if you email them they are great at getting back to you in a day or two!!! I think they are very reasonable and love their work as well which is why I am booking them as our photographer!!!

I would just make sure that the pictures you are looking at come from the photographer that is actually going to be shooting your wedding.

Try getting into the contract the name of the photographer you are hiring as well as the name of who the replacement would be if the primary photographer couldn't make it.

I just recently saw a thread of a bride in PV that was very sad because she got sent somebody else who didn't do a good job. Check out her review: http://bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/t32673

Not trying to put anybody down. Just advising you to be careful.

Best Wishes to the both of you!

  • 1 month later...

Ok, anyone else having a hard time getting them to customize a package for you?? I asked them at one point and they were all like oh yeah we can do that for you... I wanted to go with their package 3 on their website, but after careful consideration thought I might just ask for a quote on shots that I would like... they are now telling me that even if I want to customize one and still hire them for 5 hours that its going to cost the samehuh.gif? WTF? Anyone else dealing with them on this?? Please let me know!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
